The mission is to build a company of about 1 500 people and then take care of all employees in the best way. H2 Green Steel’s recruitment manager Philip Alsén and HR manager Sofia Gellar were recently on site in Boden to meet the municipality and see the place where everything should take place.
They say that the talent hunt right now, before the facilities in Boden are built, is very much about finding cutting-edge expertise in a number of different areas.
– We will look for people throughout Sweden and around the world, says Philip Alsén.
An important piece of the puzzle is also a close collaboration with Luleå University of Technology, but also upper secondary schools in the region.
– Björknäsgymnasiet (high school) is one of the schools that we will really want to collaborate with. If we think we are going to build this long-term, we must start on time and train young people who can work for us in the long run, says Sofia Gellar.
