Peab Projektutveckling, together with Boden Municipality, will examine the possibility of developing a detailed plan for a hotel and offices in central Boden. The municipality’s rapid growth requires both more hotel rooms and new modern offices.
Peab Projektutveckling has been in dialog with the municipality of Boden for some time about an investment in a new hotel and new modern offices.
Today, the municipal council in Boden decided on a land allocation agreement. If it becomes law, it means that Peab Projektutveckling and the municipality of Boden will jointly review the possibilities of developing an area adjacent to the Nordpoolen sports and swimming facility.
New detailed plan
Given the rate of growth in the municipality of Boden, there is a great need for more beds as well as office space. The location of the site, with its proximity to the water park, sports hall and central location, makes it suitable for this type of development. In addition to the proximity of sports and swimming, the site is also located at the entrance to Boden with the railway station just a stone’s throw away.
For the development to be implemented, a new detailed plan must be drawn up for the area. The scope of the project will be clarified during the preparation of the detailed plan.
