The municipality of Boden has produced a new proposal for a detailed plan for the land area Boden Business Park on Sävastön. It will, among other things, enable retail, health centers and housing.
The purpose of the detailed plan is to enable a continued investment in the development of Boden Business Park. This by creating a business park with a flexible use in different types of business activities with a focus on creativity and meeting places. Within the planning area, it is planned for uses such as offices, non-disruptive activities, city center purposes, housing, hotels, education, care and trade, as well as temporary stays.
As the municipality of Boden is planning an increase in population, with the goal of 31,000 inhabitants by 2030, more jobs, housing and basic services are required. The detailed plan is part of this development. The development of local services for the existing and additional homes in Sävast is particularly important. The planned area is in a strategically good location next to highway 97 between Boden and Luleå. The plan proposal is compatible with the in-depth overview plan for Boden / Sävast.
The plan proposal is on review from April 29 to May 20, 2022. Consultations took place 21 February – 14 March. During that period, nearby residents and other stakeholders can take a closer look at the proposal and make written comments. Then questions are answered, the proposal is processed according to comments received and then exhibited for review. After further adjustment based on the views received, the plan proposal goes up for a decision on adoption in Boden’s municipal council.

• Boden Business Park, Teknikvägen 15, the Verkstan building, Sävast
• The City Library, Enter Galleria, during regular opening hours
